National Voters Day is celebrated on 25 January to encourage the youth to participate in the vote in the electoral process in India in order to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India . This day is solely meant to encourage the population of India to vote and thereby maximize the enrollment of voters. The Theme for National voter's day 2022 is Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democracy. Our College staff and students were taken pledge.

We celebrated Republic day in our college on 26-01-2022. In this event, our beloved chairman Dr.Sheeba Jayalal came as an chief guest and hoisted the tri-colour national flag. Our principal Dr.Adlin Shinija gave a valuable message to us. Students marchpast was led by Ms.Shilpa IV B.Sc(N) student. Dance was performed by our students. Pongal festival was celebrated in our college on 12-1-2022. In this regard, we conducted pongal and Rangoli competition for students. We conducted Nutrition cooking demonstration on 11-01-2022 in Nutrition lab. In this event, all first year B.Sc(N), P.B.B.Sc(N) and GNM students were actively participated and cooked therapeutic diet. All staff were supported and encouraged the students.

On 23rd we celebrated Christmas in our college. Annammal College of Nursing conducted awareness on Covid Appropriate Behaviour on 20-09-2021. In this regard we conducted COVID awareness activities in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Marthandam. Total 31 students and 2 faculties were attended the Covid Appropriate Behaviour. 3 students & 2 faculties from Annammal College of Nursing. The topics like importance of wearing mask, hand washing, social distancing and vaccination were insisted to follow. We used flash cards and posters for giving awareness. Demonstration was performed related to social distancing ,wearing ,safe disposal and reuse of the mask and hand washing technique by using soap and sanitizer. All students were benefited by our programme.

75th Independence was celebrated in our college on 15-8-2021 at 8.30 am. Dr.Gladis Padma, President, Y's men club, Marthandam wings was our chief guest and she gave a thoughtful message and hoisted our national flag. Brig.Chandra gave a meaningful message to us. Nightingale Sports Meet 2020 was organised by Nehru College of Nursing, Tirunelveli. Sports events were conducted at Anna Stadium. In this regard our college students has participated in various events such as Kho-Kho, Volly bal, Through ball, running, etc. Our student Mr. Arun IV year B.Sc Nursing won prize in relay and running.

School Health programme was conducted on 17-2-2020 at Unnamalakadai Govt School. Theme of this programme was Sexuality and reproductive health. World Heart Day was celebrated in our college on 30-09-2019 by conducting awareness rally with the theme “my heart, your heart” from college campus to GH Kuzhithurai. All students and staff were participated. It was arranged by Mr.Ohm Prakash, M.Sc (N) Medical Surgical Department.

On behalf of Alzheimers day on 21-9-2019 we planned to visit old age home in Pillnakalai, Alagiyamandapam. Based on theme we presented various events such as dance,skit,health education given by our college ||| year B.SC Nursing students. Our principal has special address to that peoples. This programme was coordinated by Mrs.Deepa and Mr.Ohm Prakash staff of our college.

Onam Festival was celebrated on 7-9-2019 in our college. In this regard, we conducted various competitions such as athapoo, song, tiruvathira and prizes were distributed for the winners. Provided delicious sadhya to all. We all enjoyed a lot.

On behalf of Teachers Day, our college final year students conducted various games to teachers. They expressed their happiness by singing meaningful songs and speech. Cake cutting by our principal was the most beautiful moment. That was an wonderful and enjoyable day.

B.Sc Nursing & GNM first year classes were started on 4-9-2019. In this special occasion, our beloved principal gave welcome address for the gatherings. Class co-ordinators were presented the detailed about the curriculum and rules and regulations to students and parents.

Farewel Day and Thanks giving day was celebrated on 24-8-2019 in our college conference hall. Students were shared their memories and enjoyed well.

Campus Interview was conducted on 10-08-2019 in our college by Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. 10 students were selected by Apollo team.

Independence day was celebrated on 15th August, 2019 in our college. Our Beloved Chairman Dr. Sheeba Jayalal was the chief guest and hoisted the flag and also gave special address to us. Our principal Prof. Adlin Shinija gave welcome address. Our GNM students performed theme dance well. In this regard we conducted competitions and winners were awarded with prizes. The programme was end by national anthem.

On behalf of breast feeding week from 5/8/2019 to 10/8/2019, Community health nursing and Child health nursing department together conducted Health education programme with the theme “Empower Parents, Enable Breastfeeding” in GH, Kuzhithurai. GNM students were actively presented the topic to pre and postnatal mothers. It was lead by Mrs. Rejani and Mrs. Jasphine Shiny, staff of our college.

On behalf of Swacch Barath Mission- Clean India our college NSS has conducted cleaning activity. In this regard, our students involved in cleaning the campus. This was led by our college NSS Co-ordinator Mrs. Jyothi.

CMAI conference was conducted on 27th and 28th July 2019 at Tamilnadu Theological Seminary, Madura with the theme "Who Touched Me"i. From our college 30 students and staff were attended. It was a very blessed meeting.

On behalf of World Hepatitis Day on 28-7-2019 we conducted vegetable carving competition on 26-7-2019 with the theme Invest in Eliminating Hepatitis. All batch students were actively participated. Winners were awarded with prizes.

FMPB prayer meeting was conducted on 29-6-2019 at 10 am - 5pm in our college. Prayer was led by Youth team from Bangalore. Activities were songs, message, prayer. All students and staff were actively participated. They conducted special prayer for hostel students on that day evening and next day (30-6-2019) evening.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21-6-2019 with the theme "Yoga for Heart". In this regard we conducted various competitions such as slogan writing, Essay writing and Poster presentation. Many students were actively participated. Winners were awarded with prizes.

On behalf of World Hypertension Day on 14-6-2019, we conducted collage competition for our students with the theme "Know Your Numbers with a goal of increasing high blood pressure (BP) awareness in all populations around the world". . Collage was eveluated by our staff Mrs.Starina. Winners were awarded with prizes.

On behalf of World Tobacco Day on 31-5-2019, we conducted inservice education in our college. Programme was organised by our IVth year B.Sc(N) & II PBBSc(N) students with the guidence of our college staff Mrs.Jeba & Mrs. Savitha. Speakers were Ms.Jiji, Ms.Rajakumari, Ms. Agnes and Mr.Santha Kumar. They gave talk ragarding world tobacco day theme Tobacco and Lung Health. Programme was end by 12.30pm.

International Nurses day was celebrated in our college on 13-5-2019 with theme ‘Nurses: A Voice to Lead, Health for All.’ . NSS, YRC, RRC & SNA committees were together organized World Health Day with the theme "Beat Diabetes" at Kuzhithurai as Social Drama. Free plant saplings were supplied to the audience.
